Abondance Abbey reveals its treasures. In the company of one of our cultural mediators, let us tell you all about the history of this emblematic Chablais site.

You'll be amazed by the 19th-century trompe-l'œil decorations in the abbey church, and by the 15th-century wall paintings: all emotions to be shared on this journey through medieval Savoy.

At the end of your visit, take a self-guided tour of the exhibition “De l'histoire à l'art: patrimoines sacrés en vallée d'Abondance” (From history to art: sacred heritage in the Abondance valley), then finish your tour with a breathtaking view of the monument's architecture from the abbey's former orchard.
