Description
Particular difficulties: tree-lined landing. The terrain is large, but it's best to approach it upwind of the trees, especially those lining the small access road to the gravel pit.
The valley breeze is generally strong in the afternoon (between 20 and 30 km/h).
Level: supervised beginners to experienced pilots
Serves take-offs from : Planpraz, Plan de l'Aiguille, Flégère, Grands Montets and Aiguille du Midi.
Specific regulations:
The Bouchet and Savoy landings are forbidden by municipal by-law during the period when the downhill and cross-country ski runs are open.
In this case, paragliders must land on the delta terrain, 500 m upstream (to the north) of the paragliding terrain: beware, this emergency terrain is aerologically unhealthy and dangerous.
Ask your club, professional schools and information boards for details.
