Description

Gare Part-Dieu metro station was opened in 1978 when metro line B began operating. It is located in the Part-Dieu district, which includes one of France’s largest railway stations, a major business centre and a vast shopping mall. It is Lyon’s main public transport interchange, with thousands of visitors passing through the station every year.

A place of brief encounters, sad farewells, joyful reunions, social resistance and humdrum routines, Gare Part-Dieu metro station is one of the exhibition sites for the 17th Lyon Biennale, which explores the diversity of human relationships. Three vitrines tempt the constant flow of passers-by to stop and contemplate Edi Dubien’s sensitive, hybrid world of human and natural forms.

Access to the exhibition is subject to holding a valid TCL transport ticket
