The 18th Century
A century of upheaval for Cordon: "5 months of hell and 7 months of winter."
The beginnings of the school, the Sardinian map, the Château, the construction of the church, the emancipation, the French revolutionaries made this century one of hardship but also of progress. A stroll through the village helps us understand how the winter conditions affected mountain life.
