Description
The distillation campaign is a highlight of winter in our countryside. Come and listen to the story of a tradition that must be preserved: the "bouilleur de cru" (distiller) candles his fermented fruit and leaves with his eau de vie. When did this practice begin? How does it work, what fruit can be put into the big copper cauldrons, what are the customs and traditions, what regulations are in force? Making "your drop" is as much a ritual of well-orchestrated ancestral gestures as it is a moment of conviviality. In this rustic and friendly atmosphere, take the time for a shared coffee. Reservations required.
