Day 1 Ascent to Albert I refuge
Departure from the village of Le Tour (1,450m). We take the ski lift to the Col de Balme (2,100m). A comfortable path across and over the moraine of the Glacier du Tour takes us to the Albert I hut (2,702m). After a good break, we set off for an ice school on the Glacier du Tour. Night at the refuge. Ascent: 600m
Day 2 Ascent of Tête Blanche (3,421m) - Overnight in the Valley
Headlamp departure! We quickly set foot on the Glacier du Tour and put on our crampons. We climb gently up the glacier to the summit of Tête Blanche. After taking in the magnificent panorama of the Aiguille du Chardonnet (3,824m) and the Glacier de Trient (3,200m), we follow the same route back to the refuge and the village of Le Tour. Ascent: 715m / Descent: 1,320m
Day 3 Ascent to Gnifetti hut
Morning transfer to Gressoney - Staffal in Val d'Aoste, at the foot of the Italian side of the Monte Rosa massif. We take the Staffal lifts up to the Glacier d'Indren (3,275m). A short traverse of the glacier takes us quickly to the Gnifetti hut (3,648m), where we spend the night. Ascent: 370m
Day 4 Ascent of the Vincent Pyramid (4,215m)
We leave the refuge at dawn. We climb up the Glacier du Lys to the summit of the Pyramide Vincent. Depending on the level of the group, your guide may suggest extending the ascent to the Col du Lys (4,250m), from where the panorama of the Mont Rose massif is magnificent. Descend by the same route and return to Chamonix mid-afternoon. Ascent: 570m / Descent: 1,250m
