Description

During redevelopment work in the heart of the village, the town council and the Boulle school (applied arts) organized a competition to pay tribute to Mr Opinel with a sculpture. The winning entry was created by Albiez-born Jean-Claude Opinel. You can admire it in the Place Opinel, just a few hundred meters from the cemetery where the first Opinel blacksmiths are buried.
