Description

As a certified expert in organoleptic tasting and olive oil selection, Sophie Delpuech sits on the jury of national and international competitions. She runs olive oil tasting workshops and training courses to promote this marvellous product and help producers and consumers produce and choose quality olive oils.

The food and olive oil tasting workshop takes place on Saturday from 11 am to 2.30 pm at the grocery store and restaurant L'Épictural, located at 6 Rue du Petit-David, in Lyon's 2nd district.
In a warm and friendly atmosphere, you will learn how an Extra Virgin olive oil is made, and taste a selection of French and foreign olive oils. Develop your organoleptic analysis abilities and refine your gustatory preferences. The food-oil pairings experience is based on savoury and sweet dishes made by Mathieu. You will leave with your palate full of flavours and your head full of ideas to use olive oil not just as a cooking substance but as a gastronomic condiment.
