Description

La Bessannaise's cross-country ski center, ideally located right on the slopes, will introduce your students to the world of winter mountain sports and cross-country skiing, not forgetting the richness of the local cultural heritage. To achieve this, we rely on a content-based approach to learning (or perfecting) nordic skiing techniques, adapted to children of course, with an emphasis on play.

We also offer you an alternation of knowledge, based on multiple discoveries (according to your pedagogical objectives):
- SNOWSHOEING... for an easy and different way to get into the "winter folds", and to get to know another facet of the mountains...
- ORIENTATION... with preparation in the gym the day before, and an adapted course in the field.
- BIATHLON... a fun approach to this wonderful discipline, with preparation for rifle shooting (laser, no risk), followed by an outdoor session near the Center.
- MUSEUM and CHAPEL... visit an old-time dwelling, learn about and read fresco paintings: 16th-century "comic strips".
- DISCOVERY OF PASTORAL ACTIVITIES... meet a farmer...
- GETTING TO KNOW THE SNOW... Learn to use avalanche transceivers, shovels and probes, learn about rescue on the slopes, make igloos...
