"Lyon Wine Tastings" offer comparative wine tastings in English in the heart of Lyon. Run by British-American expert sommelier Caroline Conner, you will learn all about the different wine regions that surround Lyon. The flagship “Wines of Lyon” tasting covers Burgundy, Beaujolais, the Rhône, and more.

These aren’t your average wine tastings. Expect to learn about grapes, winemaking, history, and the wine business. Tastings are casual, accessible and open to guests at all levels of wine knowledge. Small groups of maximum 8 people ensure a fun and intimate experience.

All wines are chosen to represent the best of their region and are hand-picked sustainable, independent winemakers. Tastings include 6-7 wines and a cheese and charcuterie platter. Choose from “Wines of Lyon”, “Rhône Masterclass”, “Burgundy in Depth”, “Food & Wine Pairing Lunch Workshop” or design your own fully customizable private tasting.

Tastings take place in a glamorous loft in Lyon’s Croix-Rousse neighborhood. Famous for being the home of the early 19th Century silk workers, experience an authentic “canut” silk factory while relaxing over several glasses of wine. The flat is air-conditioned in the summer and cozy in the winter.
