You'll then head up the Dordogne valley to the ruins of the château de Thynières and arrive at the underwater side of the château de Val. Visit the Aubazines and Lys creeks, approach the dam in the 300m zone and comment on the construction of this colossal structure. Return to Val Castle via the submerged side. Up the valleys and gorges of the Dordogne: The history of the upper Dordogne valley will be told to you throughout this magnificent cruise. You'll sail up the valleys and gorges of the "Rivière Espérance" towards the 12th-century chapel of Port-Dieu. On the way back, you'll be dazzled by the sight of the prestigious Château de Val, towering majestically over the waters of the lake. 12 km up through the valleys and gorges of the Dordogne (accessible only by boat) to the chapel of Port Dieu (24 km ROUTE). Return to Château de Val via the submerged side.
