Description
You're probably already familiar with the Mont du Chat, the famous summit between the Avant-Pays-Savoyard & Lac du Bourget regions, and its neighbor, the equally famous Dent du Chat.
At an altitude of 1504 metres, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Savoyard massifs & even Mont Blanc.
Departing from the Restaurant des Aigles, located at the Mont du Chat lookout, hoist yourself up to a height of 6 metres and enjoy a 1.5 km walk from tree to tree, both unusual and fun.
Stop at each tree to marvel at the scenery around you. There's a 30m² observation deck along the way.
A 75m² safety net area completes the tour, ensuring that even the youngest visitors have a great time out in nature and around the log cabin.
An observation tower offers a view of the paraglider launch area and the Rhône River.
The course is just a few hundred metres from the Restaurant des Aigles, and car parking is available. Access to the panoramic trail is via a wooden staircase that can be climbed by anyone without motor problems.
Accessible to all ages - 3 to 12 year-olds must be accompanied by an adult.
The Eagles' Nest snack bar offers refreshments and souvenirs. Open from 10am to 6pm.
