Description
The whole cooking is home made, even ice creams (only the bread is bought in a bakery near the restaurant).
AC, flowered terrace, shaded parking.
The restaurant's name is a tribute to Barjavel, famous novelist who was born in the region. In this ancient Post Office, you are plunged in a real Provencal atmosphere and you can dine in magnificent stone-walled rooms with exposed beams.
When the weather is nice you can enjoy the terrace with its nature fragrances and view on the mountains, olive groves, apricot trees, hills...
Paul Roussel, Chef and owner, offers you a traditional yet creative cuisine, with colors and tastes: try for example the roasted loin of lamb with herbs and garlic crust accompanied with the mashed potatoes with olive oil.
Note that the gastronomic level of the cuisine has no impact on the prices of our menus! Therefore, reservation is highly recommended.
Opening
From 08/02 to 31/12/2024 between 11.45 am and 10 pm.
Closed on Wednesday.
