Description
Abondance Abbey reveals its treasures and its history. Let yourself be seduced by the tranquility of this site, a medieval jewel unique in the Savoy region.
Stroll through the cloister and its 15th-century murals, discover the fresco technique and the many sculptures that adorn the galleries, before admiring the architecture of the monument while enjoying the calm of the abbey's former orchard (weather permitting).
The exhibition “De l'histoire à l'art : Patrimoines sacrés en vallée d'Abondance” (From history to art: sacred heritage in the Abondance valley) will enable you to learn more about this heritage, which is strongly represented in the valley.
