Description
The Arve Valley has long been the historic heart of the Faucigny region. From the middle of the 18th century onwards, the valley has been home to the watchmaking and screw-cutting industries. Since then, the banks of the Arve, the department's first river, have changed a great deal. But it only takes a few minutes to discover the perched villages of Faucigny. All offer a complete change of scenery and year-round activities.
