Description
On the shores of Lac du Bourget, France's largest natural lake, or along the banks of the Rhône, vines languish in the sun, giving birth to wines from a true terroir where the art of tasting and the French art of living have reigned supreme for centuries.
The vineyards (570 hectares) flourish on the slopes of the Haut Rhône and on the shores of Lac du Bourget to produce unique AOC Vins de Savoie, Seyssel and Roussette de Savoie wines, including crus Jongieux, Marestel, Monthoux and Chautagne. Red wines are made from Gamay, Mondeuse and Pinot noir grapes. White wines are made from Aligoté, Altesse, Jacquère, Chardonnay, early red Velteliner and white Mondeuse.
