Description: To make your Tour du lac d'Annecy a real "coup de coeur", follow these little tips: start your circuit clockwise, which will allow you to ride on the water side after Talloires; set off in the morning before it gets too hot; leave the main road at the fourth kilometer, after the small climb up to Chavoire (a sign invites you to do so); and take everything you need for a swim! Until the major road improvements announced, the 3 km on the main road between Menthon-St-Bernard and Talloires will require all your vigilance (especially on the steep, narrow and tortuous descent to Talloires). The rest of the route is a dream, both along the eastern shore of the Petit Lac, where there are plenty of places to swim, and on the greenway built on an old railroad line. There are toilets and a water point at the old Brédannaz station, a fountain after the Duingt tunnel, at the foot of a climbing wall where you'll see climbers at work, and a second fountain at St-Jorioz. You'll also find several picnic tables here and there. Your tour comes to an end after rounding the port of Annecy, crossing the Hôtel de Ville park and crossing the Amours footbridge back to the Pâquier lawns.
