Description

Cross-country skiing areas of Savoy, including Champagny le Haut, are especially attached to the quality of the services offered to holidaymakers.

Besides improvement of slopes maintenance and marking out, they get down to develop the quality of the skiers' greeting. The cross-country skiing area of Champagny le Haut is member of this label.

In the Nordic area, you can go sledging, practise ski-joering, horse or pony riding, pony-sledging (for the youngest ones), dog sledging, ice climbing on the iconic ice tower as well as snowshoeing or walking.

Furthermore, you can observe ibexes with a ranger of the Vanoise National Park. At last, don't forget to come by in the Espace Glacialis, an unusual museum in the valley, dedicated to the glaciers of the area.

22 reading signs are displayed along trails, which present many subjects : wildlife, architecture, local life…

Passes are on sale at the cross-country chalet located in the hamlet Le Bois.
