Description
Irishman Gerry O'Connor is considered by many to be the finest four-string banjoist in the history of Irish music. He also plays mandolin, fiddle, guitar and tenor guitar.
Dublin guitarist Tony Byrne has performed with artists such as Danu, Sharon Shannon, Michael mc Goldrick, Gerry o Connor, David Munnelly Band, Matt Molloy, Paul Brady, Julie Fowlis, Lunasa and many others. Tony has also played with artists from many genres, including legendary guitarist Tommy Emmanuel, Jerry Douglas and banjo virtuoso Bela Fleck, classical violinist Nicola Benedetti and Indian tabla master Zakir Hussain. Tony also teaches guitar at Ballyfermot Senior College, Dublin.
Michael McGoldrick is a British musician, playing Irish flute and tin whistle. He was born in Manchester, England, in 1971. He also plays the Uilleann pipes and the low whistle.
