Description

For four generations... In 1927, Marie Bouvier, Lionel's great-grandmother, founded the restaurant and its reputation. From 1946 to 2001, her daughter-in-law, Yolande Bouvier, also known as Mother Bouvier, consolidated the reputation of the restaurant thanks to the local specialties: frogs, chicken in cream sauce... appreciated by the people of Bresse and Lyon. She is helped by her daughter, Marcelle, mother of Lionel Paccoud. He trained with the great starred chefs and in famous restaurants: Georges Blanc in Vonnas (01), the Bastide de Saint-Tropez (83), the Bastide St Antoine in Grasse (06), the Oasis in Mandelieu (06). In 2001, he took over the family and gastronomic heritage by adding his personal touch to regional dishes.

Specialties: Bresse chicken with cream, farm chicken from the Ain, parmentier pancakes, sautéed parsley frog legs as in Dombes, red mullet crosti with olive, small mixed salad and eggplant caviar.

Regularly: bouillabaisse meal, theater evening, theme menu.
The restaurant also offers end-of-year company meals.

The restaurant is located 10 minutes from Bourg-en-Bresse, in the direction of Châtillon sur Chalaronne and Vonnas.

From 01/01 to 31/12
Opening hours on Wednesday and Thursday between 9 am and 6 pm. On Friday and Saturday between 9 am and 5 pm and between 7 pm and 11 pm. On Sunday between 9 am and 5 pm.
Closed Monday and Tuesday.
