Description

The story begins with their great-grandmother, Aline, known as "Mémé Karavi", who at the beginning of the 1920s left her mountains and went to learn the profession of chambermaid in Paris. She is twelve years old. A few years later, she returned to the country and in 1937 with her husband François, built an alpine chalet at Croix-Fry. They practice transhumance and only occupy it in summer with their herd. Mémé Karavi, opens her table to mushroom pickers and hikers. The adventure begin.

La table de Marie-Ange, a refined cuisine concocted by Eric Guelpa (2 Gault & Millau toques) in the purest family tradition.
It is an invitation to rediscover the Savoyard terroir: fine rissoles with porcini mushrooms and foie gras, pretty reblochon pie, polenta soup with truffles, fish from the Alpine Lakes ... but also frozen soufflé with Genépi, perfect blueberry and citrus ice cream ... each dish is an ode to the flavors of traditional Savoy.

The cozy atmosphere of the restaurant with its benches covered with sheepskins, its warm woods and its small alcoves, the panoramic terrace with the breathtaking view help to magnify these gustatory pleasures.
