Description
A graduate of the Beaux-Arts in Lyon, Nicole Paliard has worked as a painter in the Grenoble region for nearly twenty years. Inspired by the cultural mingling of our time, her paintings are a rich mixture of materials, shapes and colours with a playful use of light and transparency. In September 2002, Nicole opened the Galerie Atelier at Bernin. She also gives introductory and advanced courses in various art techniques (charcoal, pastel, watercolours, oils) in the form of workshops and outdoor painting.
Artistic approach
Attracted by the blending of forms, colours and materials, Nicole incorporates gold leaf in some of her oils giving a new resonance to the geometric abstraction of her work. For several years, she has been willing to enrich her painting by exchanging ideas and creating with other artists (musicians, photographers, sculptors and iconographers).

He loves to explore personalities and caricatures because for him body language can say a lot. He often uses animal traits combined with human figures to enhance character expression and create an element of extended reality, highlighting the dreamy qualities of his work.

Nicolat Pilate is from Normandy. He first followed a fairly common course unsure of knowing what really drives him. At work he felt like a caged lion sitting in front of a computer. He was oppressed and used to dream of elsewhere. Self-taught photographer, he managed to trust his instinct and quit his job. So began his slow reconversion.
A long-distance journey took him away from the urban environnement he loved. He besame aware of his conditioning as well as the powerful feeling of freedom that invades him when in contact whith isolated or sparsely populated nature. With his camera, he tries to tame the light that obsesses him in natural environments and very often in the mountains. He likes to observe people with a humanist approach. In paerpetual quest for authenticity, he finds his inspiration in the men's heart he mainly photographs abroad. Different cultural codes allow him to better graps emotions he no longer wants to hide, but on the contrary, to show.
