Festival Au Bonheur des Mômes 2024, Le Grand-Bornand
Le Grand-Bornand Tourisme

Description

ATTENTION, ZONE OF STRONG TURBULENCE ANNOUNCED!
An explosive melting pot, Au Bonheur des Mômes has seen companies from the four corners of the world come together for the past 30 years in Grand-Bornand, mixing the spirit of the scoundrel with the poetry of the acrobat, shaking up its world with the same impertinence, this curiosity tinged with mischief, and this openness to the performing arts according to this very healthy principle: "above all, don't be too well-behaved...!

And what a festival! Imagine the place of all the audacities, where one is not surprised any more to cross at the same time violinist prodigy dressed in the manner of the great century playing the Bolero of Ravel ass over head, and Cinderella half-princess half-punk riding a mechanical cow escorted by gracious stilt walkers...

In a site entirely decorated and closed to the traffic, it is a unique festive atmosphere which settles in Grand-Bornand during all one week. Between theater, mime, puppets, clowns, music, dance and other circus performances, Au Bonheur des Mômes mixes, in a joyful hubbub, the whole range of living arts. The festival presents unique creations by recognized companies and is also a springboard for new talent. On the program of each edition: shows, workshops of artistic practice and discovery of nature, playful activities, reading times, exhibitions, ... accessible from the youngest age.
