Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes, New & Unmissable

A sweet return to childhood

«A world of plush» in Ruynes-en-Margeride Housed in an old barn in the Auvergne, the museum «A world of plush» in Ruynes-en-Margeride is an unusual place. Rocked by

plush toys, dolls, antique toys or vintage posters, the avid brocanteur Jacques Tessier has been collecting these collectibles for 30 years. From the outside, nothing reveals the atmosphere inside. The whole world is thus staged for the pleasure of the eyes, with care, rigor and attention.

This journey through the 20th century is rich in anecdotes that echo an era, its history and the men or events that marked it. Time always passes with a sense of detail, the room or object that attracts attention, touches, calls… Everyone, young and old, will find their memories and the amazing emotion of a dive into childhood.

Open from April to September.
