The cuisine at Le Comptoir offers a chance to experience the mouth-watering, fresh flavours of Burgundy. Classic regional dishes are served alongside more personal recipes, which are playfully revisited, accompanied by bottles of fine wine, from Burgundy of course!
The Chef aims to convey his love of ingredients and flavour combinations with simplicity. His credo is to enjoy himself in the kitchen and bring joy to his diners.
In the Billoux family, cooking has been passed down from father to son for more than 250 years! Alexis is the latest in this long line of talented individuals. After cutting his teeth working with reputed chefs like Antoine Westerman, Guy Savoy and Jean-Marie Gauthier, in France and overseas, the chef worked alongside his father Jean-Pierre Billoux in Dijon for a long period. Building on these experiences and looking to the future, he has made Lyon his home.
He lovingly selects his ingredients from producers in Burgundy, with a sharp focus on taste and quality. Over the years, he has built sincere and friendly relationships with winegrowers that produce his favourite wines.
The wine menu pays tribute to their know-how and this prestigious terroir (Domaine Mugneret Gibourg, Delagrange, Berthelemot, Bouzereau, Clos des Lambrays). With more than fifty wines to choose from, it also offers large bottles for exceptional tastings. Wines from other regions, fruit juices and craft beers offer something to please all palates.

All year round
Opening hours on Monday between 7 pm and 9.30 pm. On Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday between 12 pm and 1.30 pm and between 7 pm and 9.30 pm.
Closed exceptionally on January 1st, Easter Monday, Feast of the Ascension, Whit Monday, May 1st, May 8th, July 14th, August 15th, November 1st, November 11th and December 25th.
