Description

We welcome you in our more than hundred year old house built in pisé.

From spring to autumn, you will appreciate our shaded garden.
In winter, at noon, you will appreciate the brightness of our veranda on the garden side and in the evening the presence of the wood fire in our fireplace.

We propose a home-made cooking based on raw, fresh, seasonal products and coming mainly from the "short circuit".
That is to say directly from local producers located less than 20 km away (poultry and farm pork, Charolais beef, freshwater fish, organic vegetables ...). We rely in particular on the Etik'table network (Bourg-en-Bresse area: crossroads between Bresse, Dombes and Revermont) and the Bêê' Cot producers' store, to be the only intermediary between the fork and the fork (from the producer to our guests) and to offer a responsible consumption.

Madame's cooking is inspired by French tradition and has accents from elsewhere. She is particularly fond of using wild edible plants and flowers as well as spices. She also uses raw materials from our own garden or from the wild (cherries, apples, rhubarb, aromatic herbs...) and we make our own preparations such as jams, pesto...

Our menu card changes every day with a minimum choice of three starters, two main courses (one meat and one fish) and three desserts as well as the cheese plate. Upon request, Madame will serve you vegetarian, gluten-free or lactose-free dishes.

Our selection of beverages includes wines from Bugey and mainly from the Côtes-du-Rhône (mostly organic and some of which are very low in sulfites), beers from local brewers, homemade syrups, teas and infusions... aperitifs, digestifs and other homemade preparations.

Finally, if you wish to stop time, you can grab a book and read it on the spot or take it away for a few euros (second-hand books from La Bonne Pioche - Mr. Christophe Goumaz).

Member of the Etik'table network, engaged in a responsible food.
