Description
For the little ones, take part in the construction of a collective igloo.
Take advantage of the day to learn more about the snowpack, avalanche risks and, above all, how to find a victim.
At the end of your discovery, come and share your impressions with our mountain guides.
For families with very young children, including pregnant women, a specially-trained guide can help you discover snowshoeing.
Snowshoe hikes depart at 10 a.m., 11 a.m., 11:30 a.m., 1 p.m. and 2 p.m. (duration approx. 1h30).
Igloo workshop from 10am to 12pm (snow permitting).
Avalanche and avalanche transceiver workshop at 10am, 12pm and 3pm.
The event is organized by Alp'Evianature in partnership with the commune of Abondance, ADAM74 (Association Départementale des Accompagnateurs en Montagne de Haute-Savoie), the Leman Mountains Explore tourist office and AFTALP.
Then join us all winter long for hikes and other activities with our professionals.
