Description
You're probably already familiar with the Mont du Chat, the famous summit between the Avant-Pays-Savoyard & Lac du Bourget regions, and its neighbor, the equally famous Dent du Chat.
At an altitude of 1504 metres, it offers breathtaking panoramic views of the Savoyard massifs & even Mont Blanc. But this summer, you'll be able to climb even higher!
Starting from the Restaurant des Aigles, located at the Mont du Chat lookout, hoist yourself to a height of 6 metres and enjoy a 1.5 km walk from tree to tree, both unusual and fun. Try to solve the enigma of the Dent du Chat legend!
Stop at each tree to marvel at the scenery around you. 30m² of observation platforms line the trail.
A 75m² safety net area completes the tour, ensuring that even the youngest visitors have a great time out in nature and around the wooden hut.
An observation tower offers a view of the paraglider launch area and the Rhône River.
The course is just a few hundred metres from the Restaurant des Aigles, and car parking is available. Access to the panoramic trail is via a wooden staircase that can be climbed by anyone without motor problems.
Accessible to all ages - 3 to 12 year-olds must be accompanied by an adult.
The Eagles' Nest snack bar offers refreshments and souvenirs. Open from 10am to 6pm.
