Description

Sébastien is a knife sharpener who loves cooking and beautiful blades! He'll tell you all about his career, his training, and the history of a trade in the service of gastronomy, which for him involves France and Japan (different practices and cultures). It's a wide-ranging subject, with a focus on manufacturing, beautiful materials (wood and metal), different shapes and styles, and quality. Follow a sharpening demonstration, which requires a sure touch. After the visit, you'll be convinced that handcrafted knives are a fine art! Reservations required.
