Description

Take a trip back in time to the Middle Ages as you follow the epic destiny of one man, between storytelling and juggling!

This show is a journey into our imaginations of the Middle Ages. A Middle Ages imbued with magic, where mythical beings rub shoulders with simple folk. It recounts the evolution and adventures of a child who will become a great physician. We juggle, among other things, the encounter between a filthy peasant and the good Lord himself. It describes an ancestral forest, the territory of death itself. A confrontation between two armies.

At the end of the show, children are offered an introduction to juggling!

The origin of the show :
The story behind this show is called "Death as Godfather". Its structure was put down in writing in the thirteenth century, but its oral propagation goes back much further. This adaptation turns it into a poetic, funny and sometimes cruel tale in which juggling illustrates, embodies and structures the story as it blends with it.
With the help of juggling clubs, a stool and music written for the show, this is a moment of family sharing where the oral tale meets juggling to tell together a story as old as the world.
