In an exceptional landscape, in the heart of the Aravis massif, the Plateau des Confins offers numerous hiking possibilities. Come and discover this unmissable site with a donkey or pony, a wonderful walking companion, who will carry the little ones and motivate the others. Whether with the family, for budding hikers or for experienced walkers, we offer different routes through this authentic natural heritage.
Two proven formulas:
- Discovery walk:
Accompany your child for a pony or donkey ride on an easy 15-minute walk. Children from 2 years old and up to 40 kg can ride on the animal which is guided by the parents.
(Without reservation).
- Rental of donkeys, ponies or llamas:
Go independently on the marked trails, with family or friends. A range of walks and packages adapted to all desires:
* Goat farm walk: 45 min
* The tour of Lac des Confins or the Paccaly Refuge: 1h30
* The crests of Bellavarde: 2 hours
* Snack and stroll: 2h30
* “Sur Frête” circuit: 3 hours
* The Gollet circuit or the Tête du Danay: 4 hours
* The large Danay loop: 5 hours
But also :
* Personalized one-day ride
* Hike and night in a refuge (departure at 3 pm and return the next day at 1 pm)
* Hike and night under the stars (2 days)
(Booking is recommended).
Opening
From 02/09 to 18/10/2024, every Saturday and Sunday between 9.30 am and 5.30 pm.
From 19/10 to 03/11/2024, daily between 10 am and 5.30 pm.
Cancelled in case of bad weather.
