Widespread use of bicycles, discovering the countryside by mountain bike, covering the region from north to south and east to west on cycle paths and mountain bike trails... In addition to the Rotonde cycling village, the Via Allier and its loops, there are now 4 mountain bike rental outlets offering access to the many trails and routes in the Montagne Bourbonnaise:
- In the heart of the Bois-Noirs mountain biking area, in an exceptional natural setting, the Foyer du Montoncel is an ideal place for mountain biking escapades.
- Châtel-Montagne: Discover electric mountain bikes at Châtel-Montagne! The Maison du Patrimoine will be happy to advise you on signposted circuits to enjoy with your family or friends.
- Saint-Clément : Bike hire at the Base nautique du Plan d'eau, where other outdoor activities are also available.
- Laprugne: Set off from the FFC mountain bike base at Bois Noirs and rent electrically-assisted mountain bikes from Hôtel "le Chalet". On site, you'll find plenty of outdoor activities.
