Small pitches have been set up by the lake, including for the mobility-impaired, so that anglers can unfold their tackle and catch fish for an excellent fry. Carp and trout can also take the bait. Fishing is authorized with a fishing card, depending on the opening dates for trout fishing. Fishing cards are on sale at the Office du Tourisme de la Montagne Bourbonnaise.
If the fishing wasn't successful, the "Au lac des Moines" restaurant right next to the crossroads is the perfect place to sample Bourbonnais gastronomy.
