Practical Nivology and safety in snowy terrain.
Acquire the basics of avalanche risk management while snowshoeing: read and interpret a topographic map, a map application, a BERA; recognise different types of snow and characteristic avalanche situations, read the pitfalls of the terrain, understand the decision-making process and apply the leader's instructions.
Avalanche rescue.
To be able to manage alone a situation of search and rescue of an avalanche victim: test of use of avalanche transceiver, conduct in case of accident, pass an alert, search for avalanche transceiver with sounding and shoveling.
