The city of Lyon, a UNESCO World Heritage site & Luxury shopping destination, getaway to the French Alps, Chamonix Mont Blanc sightseeing, the romantic lake Annecy.
Jour 1. Paris - Lyon
In the morning, arrival in Lyon by TGV from Paris (only 2hrs) and check-in hotel. Lunch in a typical Bouchon Lyonnais (local restaurant).
Discovery of Lyon Unesco Heritage site with a local guide : Gallo-roman sites, Basilica Notre Dame de Fourvière, the old Lyon (Vieux Lyon), Renaissance quarter, its Traboules, and the Peninsula.
Dinner in a famous Chef’s Brasserie or gastronomic restaurant
Overnight stay in Lyon.
Jour 2. Lyon - Excursion vineyards
Morning devoted to Lyon, capital of gastronomy with the visit of the indoor market,
Halles de Lyon, where you will find the best of the local products.
Lunch on spot, with a very local touch and crowd.
Afternoon, excursion to the Beaujolais vineyards (north of Lyon) and visit of a winery in the heart of Beaujolais Chateaux and heritage properties.
Return to Lyon for dinner and enjoy nightlife in Lyon.
Overnight stay in Lyon.
Jour 3. Annecy
Transfer to Annecy, the Alpine lake city at the doorstep of the Mont Blanc chain. Situated at 140 kms (1hr40) from Lyon, the city is easily reachable by train, shuttle bus or private transfers.
Check in hotel in Annecy
Visit the lake side, on a segway, renting a bicycle or on a boat (river cruises…).
Stroll in the medieval town of Annecy called the little Venice of the Alps, discover the Chateau and charming and narrow pedestrian streets. A nice commercial area will welcome the serial shoppers.
Dinner in a restaurant in the old town or on the lake shore.

Jour 4. Chamonix
Departure and transfer to Chamonix (95 km/1hour)
Excursion by Montenvers train to the glacier Mer de Glace (Sea of Ice) and Visit of the Ice Grotto (seasonal).
Excursion by cable car to Aiguille du Midi peak and on the top, visit of the Mountaineering museum and Step into the Void (skywalk).
Back to Chamonix city center and free afternoon to discover the town.

Dinner in a typical Savoyard restaurant or any international food in Chamonix
At night, enjoy Chamonix nightlife: gamble at the casino, or have a cocktail in a nightclub or pub in the city center.

Jour 5. Chamonix - Italy or Switzerland
Enjoy the French Alpine life style in Chamonix, stroll around in the city center or excursion by cable car of le Brévent to see the stunning view over the Mont Blanc range. Lunch on the top at the terrace.
Afternoon, departure to Switzerland or Italy through Mont Blanc tunnel.
End of the tour.
